Exceptional Education Teachers
Not seeing the perfect position? We'd still love to meet you.
Our goal is for every member of Explore’s crew to continuously develop in their practice, actively participate in making decisions and sharing ideas, feel trusted, valued, and supported, and have an awesome time at work.
By joining our team you have the opportunity to be instrumental in the development of Explore! Community School, leading students to phenomenal achievements and playing an integral role in affecting the growth and culture of the school community. Our brand new, $25 million building, is strategically located in the heart of East Nashville and serves as a neighborhood hub, showcasing the richness of our diverse community.
We need amazing people to lead our students to amazing achievements so we are seeking smart, passionate, experienced educators who believe that all students can learn, create, and succeed at the highest level. We look for educators with a track record of high performance, who are genuinely warm and kind, thrive in an entrepreneurial culture, care about having fun at work, and are committed to high-quality, progressive instruction.
In return, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, the best classroom supply budget we’ve ever heard of, a culture in which all team members are truly valued and trusted to make decisions in the best interests of students, extensive professional development, and the opportunity to be an integral member of the fun, supportive team building in one of Nashville’s finest schools.
Finally, while you can expect to work hard at Explore!, know that we also value play! We host quarterly staff events to build healthy relationships. Past staff events include:
- Escape games
- Canoeing on the Duck River
- Top Golf
- Nashville Mural Tours
- Family potlucks, and more!
We offer the opportunity to occasionally work remotely and our staff enjoys several “wellness weekends” throughout the year.
We invite you to continue learning more about Explore! through our website.
